is alaska a nice place to visit for vacation? like to see all the animals, skiing/sledding? alot stuff to do or is it boring? are they pretty welcoming? any thing else i should know if i was to visit? thankkks

    Alaska is amazing! I have lived here my whole life. I would recommend coming in June/July or December/January.
    There are some amazing cruises in the summer i would defiantly check out.
    And if you are big on skiing there are crazy heli skiing opportunities or you can always go to Alyeska. A pretty nice ski resort, its pretty much the only one worth your time. And its only about an hour and a half from anchorage.
    You will never get bored! there is seriously sooo much to do and it is gorgeous here.
    Make sure you check out Denali its beautiful there and usually a lot of wild life.

    Go on a Alaskan cruise/tour. We went to Fairbanks first, the took a train to Denali. Saw a famous musher place there, Saw lots of wildlife, then after 4 days, went on a train again to Seward where we got on the cruise ship. Then the sip went to 4 different ports and glacier Bay. We also took the white pass railroad on a tour. You can see a little of a lot of places by doing a cruise/tour. I loved it so much, we are going to do another Alaska cruise. it was the best.
