i am going to Anchorage Alaska soon for a vacation and I would like to know what there is to do there(fishing, tours, hiking, etc) and some nice restaurants over there.

    You might get lots of good information from this web site…. You can look at their visitor’s guide on line as well as find web sites to other attractions, events, and restaurants. Be sure and stop by the Visitor’s Center on 4th Avenue where you can pick up lots of good info. Also, the locals are very helpful with the type of information you are seeking. Some of the restaurants that are my favorites are: Glacier Brewhouse, Henry’s Great Alaskan Restaurant, Sourdough Mining Company, Alaska Salmon Chowder House, and Sea Galley/Pepper Mill/Gilligan’s (in no particular order). There are way too many to list because everything is better in Anchorage!!!!! Have fun on your trip.
